Don't get it in the wrong way, xDiavel diesel does not run on the diesel fuel but Ducati has decided collaborate with Diesel company and is set to launch a new beastly version of the bike in the next year. This version of the motorcycle looks really raw and leathery with the all new gangster and custom designed like looks. This is a new field in which Ducati has stepped in and clearly these pictures reveal that this artistic production won't let their owner down.
xDiavel has surely surprised us everyone at the cruiser's capabilities as how fast it can get while being excellent in comfort zone. Pillion seat is mostly hated because the area is to small for someone to sit and it is better if you would use pillion seat accessory. Most of the people found it weird because they were new to this segment of motorcycle but soon they found it extremely exciting and overwhelming. The design visually attracts like a superconducting magnet will attract metal.
The current version of all the Ducati Diavels and xDiavels have excellent ability of manoeuvring on all type of On-road conditions and exceptionally doing well on the corners (while being a cruiser bike) and gives a lot of confidence to the rider to push harder. Current xDiavel comes up in two models known as xDiavel ABS and xDiavel S. The xDiavel S is the pricey one due to the addition of some packages like the bluetooth functionality and also some of the design changes.
xDiavel in present time comes up with the Ducati Testastretta DVT (Desmodromic Variable-valve Timing) 11° twin cylinder with 4 valves per cylinder 1262 cc engine which is capable of delivering 156 hp power and @9500 rpm and 128.9 N-m of torque @5000 rpm. Engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission box, mileage of the motorbike is claimed to be 20 km/l. The bike weighs a whopping weight of 247 kg after all the fluids are there in the bike while the fuel tank is filled up to 90% of its capacity. Fuel tank capacity is 18 litres.
The bike is equipped with all the safety utilities provided by Ducati and has different modes of driving presets which can be adjusted separately according to the desired values. Braking system is developed by Bosch and tyres are provided by Pirelli.
As mentioned above, the bike is set to launch in 2018 (next year) and there is no disclosure of the price for the model. And, yes the bike will be definitely worth the price if you are willing to spend a fortune.
