Reviewing Lamborghini Centenario, the mighty beast from 2016

Lamborghini's are persistent with their astoundingly beautiful and performance exorbitant exotic super-cars. Recently released Lamborghini Centenario made its debut last year in 2016, on the vary occasion of 100 th anniversary of Lambo's Founder Ferruccio Lamborghini, Lamborghini Centenario was unveiled in Geneva Motor show. In fact, Centenario is an Italian word which means Centenary in English, which ipso facto means 100 th  anniversary. Basically, Lamborghini Centenario is a hypercar. Lamborghini Centenario at Newport Beach This car replaced the crown of Lamborghini Veneno, and belongs to the family of Aventador family, besides Centenario is longer than the Aventador, but much lighter in weight. This is evident by the fact that most of the parts like body, chassis, wheels (originally made of aluminium yet carbon fibre is used), interiors of this vehicle are made of carbon-fibre. Refined interiors made of carbon fibre gives sporty feel. The Centenario weigh 1520 kg w...

Bugatti Chiron is the true successor to the Veyron

The fastest, mightiest, most beautiful, blah-blah-blah...... Even the existing vocabulary is not enough to explain this beautiful car. Why? Because we all know what Bugatti Veyron is capable of and this new production from Bugatti is none other than the Bugatti's newest and also fastest production car. This beast is also proudly known as Bugatti Chiron. Chiron is named after Monegasque driver Louis Chiron.

It is evident from the pictures that exteriors of Chiron has quite changed. Headlamps are completely new and looks exotic with the DRLs while the air fenders improves the looks yet providing highly efficient aerodynamics to the car. The design is truly eye catching. Side-skirts, rear air diffuser, long stripped tail light are marvellous. Though, the similar stripped tail-lights made by Audi for their vehicle is banned in the US while Chiron is not. That is simply because of the US regulation rule compliance works well with Chiron.

Bugatti Chiron is the mid-engine two seated super sports car which is developed as the successor to the Veyron, it was first unveiled in the Geneva Motor show on 1st March 2016. This car absolutely shares its genetics with the predecessor as which carries 8 litre quad-turbocharged w-16 gasoline engine. Hopefully, the car only like 98-octane fuel just like Veyron. Yet, the major difference lies in between the power and torque generation of these two. Veyron makes around 299 PS and 350 N-m of torque less than the Chiron, and Veyron makes 1,001 metric horsepower (987 bhp) and 1250 N-m torque, while Chiron generates 1500 PS power and 1600 N-m torque .Also, just like Veyron, Chiron's body is made by the ultra-light and strong carbon fibre, independent suspension and Haldex AWD system. The carbon fibre body is so rigid that it can bear up to 50,000 of Nm per degree and nearly same goes for its tires. Seriously, everything Bugatti developed for the Veyron was refined and then installed in the Chiron.

Now that was enough of comparison between these two. When you enter the car, you will experience a whole new dynamic of the vehicle. The architecture resembles similarities with the Veyron's but, driver's information display is changed and looks really impressive. Infotainment display is integrated with the driver's information display and can be used only by the driver from the steering mounted buttons. There is a whole new set of electronics especially developed for the Chiron.

Here are some quick facts about Chiron:-

1. Manufacturing of tires were co-assigned to Michelin. Those are manufactured to withstand 3,800 force of gravity.
2. Chiron's turbochargers pumps 60,000 litres of air every minute in the cylinder heads.
3. There are actually 5 driving modes in this vehicle. These are Lift, Auto, Autobahn, Handling and Top Speed and they are kicked in at speeds 0-50 km/h, 50-180 km/h Lift and Auto respectively while Autobahn mode is activated above 180 km/h. All these modes provide the best comfort while except the Handling mode puts the comfort zone apart and the shocks and dampers are adjusted to provide maximum handling. Top speed mode is kicked in by the use of a separate key, which allows the car to reach its maximum speed ,i.e, 261 mph or 420 km/h.
4. Chiron weighs around 4400 pounds (approx. 1996 kg), which is slightly higher than the Veyron yet Chiron is way faster than Veyron. This is evident as the top speed of Chiron is electronically limited to 261 mph but the car is said to hit 288 mph (463 km/h) without any hassle.
5. Chiron's catalytic converters have an area of approximately equal to 30 soccer fields.
6. Chiron is equipped with 10 radiators which are designed such that to reduce the cooling drag while achieving maximum cooling efficiency.
